Funny you should ask ...I'm planning another post shortly for a different pair of "the pants" that I found after these that are a bit heavier and that I also adore and plan to make my winter uniform. That said, as an always-hot perimenopausal fat woman, these pants will probably be my uniform until the temps are consistently into the 40s (here in Missouri, that means I'll probably only need the other pants Dec, Jan and Feb). But they are thin, so it likely depends on how hot you run as to how long into cool temps you'll wear them.
